Privacy Policy

What we store locally

Your positions, Wheel cycles, completed trade history, and settings are stored on your iPhone using Apple’s SwiftData framework. This data is included in your encrypted iCloud device backup if you have one enabled, but is not transmitted to WheelAI.

What we send to our server

When you use a Pro AI feature (screener, strike advisor, next-step advisor), the app sends only the data needed for that request:

• For the screener: capital, risk level, preferred days-to-expiry, current ticker symbols you hold (to avoid recommending duplicates), and your selected UI language
• For the strike advisor: ticker, position type, capital, risk level, preferred days-to-expiry, optional current price and cost basis you entered, and language
• For the next-step advisor: ticker, assignment price, share count, cost basis, optional current price, and language

We never receive your name, email, phone, Apple ID, IDFA, broker name, location, photos, contacts, or transaction history. We do not link AI requests to any persistent identifier.

Before any AI feature sends data for the first time, the app shows a consent screen explaining what is sent and to whom. You can review or revoke this consent any time at Settings → AI Privacy.

Third parties that process your AI requests

When you use an AI feature, the request flows through these companies. We share only the fields listed above.

• Cloudflare, Inc. — our backend (api.wheelai.app) runs on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare processes the request as a service provider on our behalf and caches the response for up to 24 hours to speed up repeat calls. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
• Anthropic, PBC — provides the Claude API that generates the AI recommendations. The data fields listed above are forwarded to Anthropic for the duration of the request. We do not authorize Anthropic to use this data for model training; per Anthropic’s commercial terms, API inputs and outputs are not used to train their models. • Yahoo Finance (Verizon Media) — public quote and option chain endpoints. Only the ticker symbol is sent; no user data is included.

Each of these processors offers privacy protections comparable to or stronger than our own. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose other than answering the specific AI request you made.

Subscription verification

When you subscribe to WheelAI Pro, your purchase receipt is verified directly with Apple. Apple shares a transaction identifier with us so we can confirm your subscription is active. We do not receive payment information.

Analytics

This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not track individual users. We can see aggregate page views and referrers, nothing personal.

The iOS app does not include any third-party analytics, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs.

Your rights

Because we don’t store your data, there is no profile to access or delete. To remove every trace of WheelAI from your phone, delete the app — your local SwiftData store goes with it.
